The July calendar for summer activities that happen during the summer meal program. The activities are: July 7 at the YMCA Site 11-12 Come and Go Craft; July 10 at the YMCA Site 11-12 4-H Bunny Club; July 10 at the Fairview Site Trinity Adkins, Clay County Naturalist Activity; July 14 at the YMCA Site Trinity Adkins, Clay County Naturalist Activity; July 15 at the YMCA Site Outdoor Inflatables bring your swimsuits; July 17 at the Fairview Site 11-12:45 4-H Bunny Club; July 21 at the YMCA Northwest Bank Activity; July 22 at Fairview Northwest Bank Activity; July 23 at the YMCA 12:00 Schmidt Pediatric Activity; July 24 at Fairview 12:00 Schmidt Pediatric Activity; July 30 Kwik Star Drawing $20 Food Gift Card Drawing; July 31 last day for eat-in meals. Starting August 1, all meals are to go only. Pick up on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Coloring pages, puzzles and books for children to read available each day at each site.

Due to a water main break near the High School that was just discovered, there will be no school at the HS today. All Elementary schools and the Middle School will have classes as normal. We apologize for the late message.

Clay County Public Health and Avera Medical Group-Spencer will be teaming up to offer flu shots to students at school this fall.

Please return the signed permission form to school no later than Friday, October 17th.

Family Members,

Notifications of student absences will now be sent out by all schools by automated email and text every morning. Please respond to the notification as directed with an explanation of the absence or comment on your doubt of this marking. All unexplained absences will be marked as unexcused.

Feature to Use on App:
To help parents report absences the district has activated the Absence Request feature in Campus Parent for all schools. This tool allows parents to report absences for one or multiple children in the same request. This tool can be used to report absences for the same day or in the future. Please see the last two images for how to complete a request with the last picture showing steps on the app.
