Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How long after I complete registration may my student begin attending classes?
A: From the family's first contact with the district to their approval to attend school MAY take several days. (Approx. 1 week)

Q: What items do I need to register my student?
A: Birth Certificate, Updated Immunization Records, and Completed Online Registration Application. 

Q: Do you offer online instruction?
A: No, we do not offer 100% online instruction. 

Q: Do you offer credit recovery?
A:  Yes, but please contact the District Registrar for more specific information. 

Q: If I live outside of the Spencer District can I still attend Spencer Schools?
A: The requirements of Open Enrollment would need to be fulfilled.

Q: How can I apply for Free/Reduced Meals?
A:  After your Application for Registration has been approved, you will receive an approval email with further information about applying for Free/Reduced Meals. 

Q: What time does school begin and end?
A:  Pickup times may vary slightly by building. 
Elementary Schools: 8:15-3:30
Spencer Middle School: 8:06-3:38
Spencer High School: 8:15-3:30

Q:  How do I pay my fees?
A: After application approval, instructions will be given to create a parent portal. Your fees can be paid via the parent portal.
