Third Graders Complete Timberwolves Reading Challenge

Reading Challenge ParticipantsThird graders at Fairview Elementary participated in the Minnesota Timberwolves Fastbreak Foundation Read to Achieve reading incentive. Students were challenged to read 500 or more minutes between November 6-December 1, 2017, and the students who met that goal were rewarded with a Timberwolves poster, bookmark, drawstring backpack and a buy-one-get-one ticket offer for an upcoming basketball game. Congratulations to the 60 students at Fairview Elementary who met the challenge, and to the top three participants: Emily Schmidt with 2,665 minutes, Candace Lindsay with 1,581 minutes and Ava Schroer with 1,359 minutes.
