Empathy Tiger Heroes

Spencer Middle School (SMS) announced their latest Tiger Heroes, recognizing students who exemplify Tiger Expectations, and living the Tiger Way.  Each letter of the word “TIGERS” represents different attributes of Tiger Expectations, and for the past six weeks, emphasis was placed on the letter E, representing Empathy, through lessons taught during home base, quotes of the week and other information shared on the announcements.  At the all-school assembly, the top ten students who received the most votes from their peers for demonstrating "Empathy" were recognized, and the top three vote-getters from each grade also received a certificate.

The nine students selected include:

6th Grade – Maggie McNea, Emma Garberson and Jilliana Moser

7th Grade – Elizabeth Sipress, Dawson Glawe and Thobe Moeller

8th Grade - Brenna Fisher, Kim Rodriguez and Bri Holt

Congratulations to these students for being such great role models at SMS!  Stay tuned for information of future recipients, with the next letter, R, representing Responsible Behavior.
